Programme rules & helpful answers
When do points start and when are they credited?
The programme starts on 25 September 2026. Eligible online purchases made after launch earn points automatically when payment is received. Earlier purchases do not earn retrospective points. We use the order's USD product value after discounts, excluding shipping, taxes, cancelled and refunded items. Fractions are rounded down to whole points per order. Free samples and direct bulk quotes are excluded.
How do vouchers and expiry work?
Points and redeemed vouchers currently have no expiry date. Redeem through the DEC Rewards panel: points are deducted when a personal, single-use voucher is issued. Minimum spend applies to the eligible product subtotal before the voucher, excluding shipping and taxes. Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred, or combined with VIP pricing, other promotions or direct bulk quotes.
How is VIP eligibility checked?
We check at least two completed paid orders and 500 cumulative paid fabric yards across orders and fabric types, excluding cancelled, refunded and free quantities. Completed historical orders and verified paid direct bulk purchases may count. Community points and the act of redeeming points do not affect VIP yardage. Approval is confirmed by our team, who will provide a personal discount for eligible products. VIP pricing applies to eligible regular-price online fabric purchases and cannot be combined with other discounts.
How do I claim community and referral rewards?
Submit your account email, social handle, post link or order reference using the form. Account and social-follow rewards are once per person. Reviews must relate to a completed purchase; positive reviews are not required. Project posts must show your own work using DEC fabric. For referrals, ask your friend to identify your account email in their order notes, with your permission, and submit the order reference for review. Self-referrals and duplicate accounts do not qualify. The qualifying first order must have at least US$50 in paid product value after discounts, excluding shipping and taxes. Where you receive points for public content, disclose the incentive in the post.
What happens if an order is refunded?
Points and VIP qualifying quantities are adjusted for cancelled or refunded items. If the related points have already been spent, a points adjustment may reduce future rewards until the balance is restored. Refunds are based on the amount actually paid. Contact us about a voucher used on a cancelled or refunded order; it is not automatically reissued.
Do I need to be a VIP to order or request samples?
No. All customers can shop online and request free fabric samples. For one order of 500 yards or more, please contact us for a direct quote. Points have no cash value. We may investigate duplicate or fraudulent claims, and any future programme changes will be communicated on this page.
